New Childcare Scheme

The new scheme offers tax relief for working parents by topping up any contributions you make into the account. The account can then be used to pay fees to registered childminders, nurseries or even after school clubs. It is open to self employed and employed individuals, so is much more flexible than the existing Childcare Vouchers Scheme, which is only available from certain employers.
If you or your partner are already receiving Childcare Vouchers from your employer through a salary sacrifice agreement then you can continue to do so as long as your employer offers the scheme. This may be more beneficial for some, so think carefully before switching, and contact us if you want to discuss your options.
